Recently I came across NSF Extractor Tool developed by SysTools. I was really impressed with its performance and want to share its features and functionality with the readers.
About NSF Extraction Tool
By using this software, users can extract all items of NSF file created by IBM Notes or Lotus Notes. The files include emails, calendars, tasks, journals, notes, names.nsf, etc. Post extraction, NSF files can be migrated in PST file format and then exported to Outlook. More than one NSF file can be extracted in a bulk by this application.
This program is developed using the best technology of the present time. That is why, it does not have any problem extracting NSF email attachments. Any type of attachments coming with the Lotus Notes email can be extracted by this tool. In case users have encrypted emails in their NSF folder, they can take help of this NSF Extractor Tool too. It is capable of extracting encrypted IBM Notes emails by decrypting those emails first.
The system where the tool will perform its task should have Lotus Notes installed. During the extraction process, it is important that IBM Notes does not remain connected to IBM Domino Server. Users can select partial data from an NSF file for extraction by using date filter option. Thus it saves users from extracting unnecessary items from NSF file.
If users want to export NSF to PST by keeping the folder structure same, it is also possible. This software can extract and migrate data by keeping folder structure similar to the source NSF file. The program also has options to export NSF emails and contacts into the same PST file.
NSF Extractor Tool comes with an easy to use interface that any user can operate without any trouble. Users can remove any duplicate IBM Notes contacts during extraction to avoid further confusion.

It would have been better if the program could extract NSF files without Lotus Notes installation. Then it would have been possible to extract orphaned NSF files using this tool. This application is available in two different versions, one is called demo version and another is called the full version. Demo version extracts only 25 items of NSF folder, while the full version does not have any such restriction. Before buying the program, users may use the demo version to check how this tool performs.
All in all, anyone with the need of extracting and exporting Lotus NSF files can choose NSF Extractor Tool. In cases of email attachment extraction and bulk IBM Lotus data extraction, this software will come handy to its users. As this tool can extract all NSF files by keeping the metadata and source styling intact, it can be a perfect choice to extract Lotus NSF data.
